I've been thinking about how to support young carers, and this is an idea that i think could be really beneficial!
Establishing an educational program in schools that supports young carers.
Young carers need to be supported so that they can complete their education and reach their full potential. It is important that young carers should not be adversely affected by their caring role. Schools need to either establish or improve their support services so that young cares can be adequately identified and supported. For example, homework assist, flexible timetables or out of school learning programs need to be implemented.
