Tabaluga's

Re: Tabaluga's

@Bunniekins i have tonic clonic seizures. I did have childhood absent epilepsy, when I was a child I had absent seizures and it laid dormant for many years. But when I was working the stress became too much and the epilepsy returned but with the grand mal seizures as they used to be known.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Bunniekins that's so scary when they are so young. I was about 8 when I was diagnosed with it. I remember my first seizure very well with how I felt before it happened.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Dreamy   you had a aura?

Re: Tabaluga's

@Dreamy  wow can you tell me what happened?

Re: Tabaluga's

@Bunniekins i felt strange but then everything was blacking out around me and I started freaking out telling my mother to call an ambulance cos I felt like I was dying. It was very scary. I know when one's coming now, I start feeling strange, get moody, and when it's getting close I get a horrible taste in my mouth and my body will start twitching.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Dreamythat is awful. it sounds so frightening.  my son is on the purple pill for it plus is a mood controller i use it to control my moods. my daughter uses a white pill starting with l.  ill never forget when son first had his he was in his baby seat in car and i was driving somewhere and he started seiuzing.  i took him straight to hospital.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Bunniekins i was on medication when I was a child. But I'm not on anything now, when it first came back i was trying to get pregnant so it wasn't safe to be on medication and now after what's happened with medications it's just not an option for me. That would have been very scary for you but good job for taking him straight to hospital.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Dreamy   you know Dreamy i put my sons conditions down to having a virus when i was 9 weeks pregnant.  i had a vomiting virus and was ill for 24 hours.  little did i know what would happen to him in utero

Re: Tabaluga's

@Bunniekins things are starting to get intense for me. This seizure is getting close so if I stop talking you'll know why.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Dreamy  have you tried the ketogenic diet i think it is called?
