I'm extremely lucky - ma & pa cover my medical bills and doctors/tests sometimes cost less on the pension. Three of my specialists also bulk bill me.

But I wouldn't have made it this far without my folks

Wow thats amazing @StuF. You are so lucky which is really cool. Its really unrealistic to expect pensioners to foot medical bills. My last psychiarist was bulk billing me. I am so glad you have financial backing from your lovely parents! They sound like nice people that really support you all the way!

Yeah, my psychiatrist bulk bills me now. Been seeing her for 40 odd years, but probably like the last decade she bulk bills me

@StuF I'm glad your parents protect and look out for you. Its hard to endure financial hardship with medical bills especially if you are on a low income! The Ultrasound sounds good so you may still be allright and not requiring extra medical care. Hopefully you are in the clear. Nobody wants or needs compounding medical issues. You have enough on your plate allready

 dr saw recently said my creatine levels near double what should be @StuF  so they put me on gout med s 4 eva.they said it's genetic, ok drinking more water and losing weight would help, but not fix it. can cause huge problems in joints ,crystals get in there and wear eg toe joints out.
