My sister died 30 years ago and my brother died 20 years ago. In the spitting incident at her funeral .. I was not yet a mother myself, a little in awe of the spitting sister as she was a kindergarten teacher and often nice ... but obviously not to her own sister .. it was actually sexual jealousy apparently ... but I did not know that then .. I did know the spitting was wrong and not warranted by mum ... suicide makes things very complicated in ways we cannot predict.
I would never wish such a journey on anybody but I have met a few who have also lost 2 siblings in that way.
I could not stop the tears ... buckets not really tears for about 15 years.
But they seem mostly to have dried up now and I go gently with myself and my memories.
