Borderline Personality Disorder

I have a daughter who has lived overseas for 20 years.  She was diagnosed with Bipolar when she was 16 years of age and is now 47.

She has recently returned to Australia and is sabotaging me to everyone she talks to including my son (her brother) and is making up stories about me that are not true! None of my family are talking to me!  She is so verbally abusive to me Im shocked.  What to do!

Re: Borderline Personality Disorder

Hey @Borderline1 ,

Welcome to the forums. It sure sounds tough!

Do you mean your daughter has borderline personality disorder or bipolar? This is because the treatment is very different for both conditions.

Re: Borderline Personality Disorder

Hi and welcome, @Borderline1 ...

I'm wondering if you'd like to post your post above on SANE's Friends, Family and Carers Forum? That way you might get some advice from people who have been /are in your situation, hopefully... There is also a link at the top of the page here, under "Forums Community" and under "Forums Home" a bit further down the page too.

Good luck...
